Another benefit of using Purolator for delivery is our Web-based Instant Returns Service.

Our clients’ Canadian customers who want to return products can send them back to our Canadian Logistics Center. Upon receipt, we open and inspect each return to verify what was returned against both (1) the contents of the original order and (2) any documentation filled out and enclosed by the customer. We then log information about the return and about what action the customer is requesting into a client-specific Web page, which then updates our Instant Returns database.

Information in our Instant Returns database is available for real-time viewing via the Web. Our clients can view specific returns or all the returns processed within a specified date range. Our clients are thus able to respond to their customers virtually immediately.

A sample taken from our Instant Returns Service Web page follows below. The information is displayed in a table so that it can be easily copied and pasted into a spreadsheet program such as Excel.
